Directions to Whale Song Sanctuary
Upon exiting the Kona Airport, turn right on Highway 19 - Queen Kaahumanu Highway. You are approximately 25 miles from Whale Song.
Continue South through the town of Kailua-Kona on Highway 19. As you pass through Kailua, the number and name of the Highway changes to Highway 11 - Mamalahoa Highway. Stay on this road and continue South.
When you have traveled approximately 20 miles, you will see a sign that says "Kealakekua Bay" with an arrow pointing to the right. Immediately after that will be Napo'o po'o Road. Turn right on Napo'o po'o Road. This is a very winding road that continues downhill for 4.5 miles.

- Travel exactly 4.2 miles on Napo'o po'o Road.
- At the “Y” intersection of Middle Keei Road and Napo'o po'o Road, keep right to stay on Napo'o po'o Road.
- At 4.2 miles turn right on a private road with a sign that reads: Dead End Private Road.
- Travel about 2 blocks to the Cul-de-Sac.
- At the Cul-de-Sac are two private roads, take the left road (the black road) that goes steeply uphill.
- There is a large yellow sign that says Private Drive No Trespassing. Continue up this drive.
- It will curve to the left as you reach the top. As you round the curve you will see a gravel drive to the left.
There is a statue of Ganesha (Indian Elephant Deity) This is Whale Song Sanctuary. Address: 82-5988B
- Turn left here and continue up the drive and park next to the house.
